Johnson Memorial Health Services
Hasslen Construction was hired by Johnson Memorial Health Services as the Construction Manager At-Risk for additions and renovations to the existing Hospital. The project included construction of a new 56-bed Care Center adjacent to the Hospital and demolition of the existing Care Center to accommodate a new parking lot, Hospital entrance, and Clinic additions. Renovations to the existing Hospital included major mechanical and electrical infrastructure upgrades, interior renovations, and finish improvements.
Glencoe Regional Health Services
This project was a multi-phase new construction and renovation of a long-term care facility. The first phase was a two-story addition, adding four new neighborhoods. Once the new addition was occupied, the renovation began. During renovations, four of the existing wings were turned into resident neighborhoods. All the neighborhoods have small dining rooms and private rooms and baths. The fifth wing of the existing building was renovated into a town center and a new main entrance separate from the hospital.
Ortonville Area Health Services Hospital
Ortonville Area Health Services Hospital was a multi-phase construction project in which the entire hospital was demolished and rebuilt one phase at a time. We were able to complete the project on time while enabling the facility to maintain operations throughout the process.
Ortonville Area Health Services Catered Living Facility
This catered living facility is a 34-unit building with three additional hotel guest suites. Hasslen Construction managed a fast-tracked schedule to complete construction within a 10-month time frame all while using local subcontractors.
State of Minnesota Veterans Home
The new 85-bed veteran’s skilled care nursing home was completed in Phase I, followed by the Phase II addition of a 21-bed special care unit for residents diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Ortonville Area Health Services Skilled Nursing Facility
Ortonville’s new skilled nursing facility contains 51 beds in three separate cottages organized around a Town Center. The project had major emphasis on local contractor involvement.
