The Hasslen Construction Team
As Hasslen President, Brent serves as principal-in-charge. Since beginning his management career at Hasslen, Brent has overseen $400 million in construction projects, honing his leadership, supervisory, and management skills in the process. His strength as a leader stems from his ability to build strong teams that inspire all members of the project—from project managers to subcontractors—to feel invested in the success of the outcome. On the job, Brent acts in the client’s best interest to monitor progress and weigh the cost and time consequences of design decisions in order to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Having spent time working both out in the field as superintendent and in the office as a project manager/estimator, Brian is a well-rounded industry expert. He enjoys being hands-on with Hasslen projects and is a natural team leader and motivator, making him a valuable asset in the field. In the office, Brian’s extensive knowledge of the construction industry and strong work ethic serve him well in his role as Vice President. Brian graduated from Northwest Technical College in 2003, where he studied Construction Management.
Jade is the sixth generation to join the Hasslen team. He brings new insights and a fresh perspective to your project. As Safety Director for Hasslen, Jade ensures that all necessary safety precautions are being taken on your project site. He conducts bi-weekly project site visits to ensure contractors are meeting compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Christy joined the Hasslen team in 2005, serving as the company’s receptionist and administrative assistant. She works closely with the president, CFO, and project managers to provide personnel support. In addition, she manages human resources for Hasslen and oversees general office operations. Christy graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Psychology.
As a superintendent with Hasslen since 2002, Dean is responsible for daily operations on the project site, working closely with other project managers to supervise onsite subcontractors, coordinate the field work force, and schedule all equipment and material deliveries. He records daily progress and other important activities on the job. Dean has over 26 years of construction experience and has proven his skill at keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Dale has been a superintendent with Hasslen since 2005. His 18+ years of construction experience allow him to supervise daily operations on the project site, keeping budget and scheduling on track throughout the duration of the project. He works with project managers to coordinate subcontractor performance, record daily field progress reports, and schedule all equipment and material deliveries.
As a superintendent with Hasslen since 2020, Colt is responsible for daily operations on the project site, working closely with other project managers to supervise onsite subcontractors, coordinate the field work force, and schedule all equipment and material deliveries. He records daily progress and other important activities on the job. Colt has over 10 years of construction experience and has proven his skill at keeping projects on schedule and within budget
Ryan is responsible for daily operations on the project site, working closely with other project managers to supervise onsite subcontractors, coordinate the field work force, and schedule all equipment and material deliveries. He records daily progress and other important activities on the job. Ryan has over 22 years of construction experience and has proven his skill at keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
